Yellow Goldfinch Sketch ACEO

This is one of the more quickly drawn sketches I've done. There were no stumbles, backtracking, or fixes to do-- just smooth sailing.
Birds are interesting to draw, but I'd also like to do some new bird paintings as well. I painted a few birds in acrylic several years ago. I'm not sure if I've posted those or not. If not, look for those soon.

Revolution Money Exchange Offering $25 Sign-up Bonus
This is a new payment network to rival PayPal, and through April 15, they are offering $25 to everyone who creates an account (see the sign up button below). I signed up last week and the procedure is quick and painless, and much like PayPal. But unlike PayPal, there are no fees involved.
Once you sign up, two deposits are made to your bank account. To verify your bank account with Money Exchange, you input the two amounts in the required fields. Once that's complete you can either spend the money or transfer it your bank account.

Here is a new oil painting that I mentioned before. I finally got started on it, after much delay. I was sort of surprised at how quickly this was painted, since I haven't painted in oils lately (although I have been painting digitally on a regular basis and sketching every day, so I'm sure that has helped prevent getting too rusty with oils). Look for more oil paintings soon, including some landscapes.

Dinosaur National Monument
This is a 20" x 30" oil painting of a scene in Dinosaur National Monument, located in eastern Utah and western Colorado. Painted from reference photos. This exact scene doesn't exist, as it was cobbled together from two or three different photographs I shot while visiting.
